11 Foods That Will Add Fun To Your S ex Life

If you want to put some sizzle back into your s ex life, food can help you set the mood. There’s a growing body of evidence that some of the vitamins and components in foods can enhance s exual function and s exual experience.

The shape, taste and smell of a particular food item are taken into consideration while putting it into the love-food category. Majority of the food that are considered as aphrodisiac, resembles the human genetilia in some form or the other.

There is no magic food to increase your libido, but being deficient in certain vitamins and minerals, such as zinc, can lead to decreased libido and blood circulation. Eating foods that are high in B vitamins, zinc, vitamin E and some others are the best ways of ensuring your libido stays where it should. Here are some must  have foods to rev up your s ex life

Bananas: Not only because of its phallic shape but also due to its innumerable beneficial properties. A banana is packed with vitamin A, B and C and also potassium. Vitamin B and potassium are known to increase s ex hormone production in the body. A banana is also packed with Bromelain which increases the testosterone levels. High levels of sugar present in banana gives energy, which helps to last long.

Avocados: Avocados is referred to as testicles, because of their physical shape. But the scientific reason why avocados make sense as an aphrodisiac is that they are rich in unsaturated fats and low in saturated fat, making them good for your heart and your arteries. Anything that keeps the heart beating strong helps keep blood flowing to all the right places; in fact, men with underlying heart disease are twice as likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction (ED). Avacado is a rich source of beta carotene, magnesium, vitamin E, potassium and proteins all of which are good for your sexual appetite.

Spinach: This dark leafy green is loaded with folate, a water-soluble B vitamin that serves to help the body form red blood cells. But when it comes to the bedroom, spinach can provide a much-needed energetic boost. Foods rich in folate are perfect for improved circulation, and if you don’t eat enough folate-rich foods, irritability and fatigue can be side effects, which is not going to help you in the sex department.  Make folic-rich foods, like spinach, a part of your daily diet.

Wines: Drinking wine itself is an erotic and seductive process, drinking it helps in lowering inhibitions and make people feel relaxed. Port wines which originate from Portugal is considered to be the most potent aphrodisiac. Not only in men, but wine is known to increase libido in woman as well but make sure that you don’t drink any alcohol in excess as due to it’s sedative properties it will only make you drowsy.

Almonds: Have long been purported to increase passion, act as a sexual stimulant, and aid with fertility. Almonds are nutrient-dense and rich in several trace minerals that are important for sexual health and reproduction, such as zinc, selenium, and vitamin E.  Zinc helps enhance libido and sexual desire.

Chocolate: Also known as the ‘food of the gods’, chocolate has always been associated with sensuality and love. Phenylethylamine (PEA) and serotonin present in chocolate are also present in our brain and they increase your excitement and energy level. When we eat chocolate the level of both increases and lifts the mood. Anandamide along with PEA helps in reaching orgasm.

Basil: Has anti-inflammatory properties, which help to reduce swelling in the body, making blood flow easier to all body parts, including those sexual organs you want to excite. It has also been known to promote sexual desire in men just by smelling it, it increases blood flow and heart rate. foods-sexual-health-tease.jpg.pagespeed.ce.KOqqJxQEGX
Watermelon: Is worth eating not only because it’s delicious, but it also has the capacity to heat things up in the bedroom. Watermelon has the potential to increase libido due to an amino acid called citrulline, Citrulline helps to dilate blood vessels similarly to Viagra used to treat erectile dysfunction.
Garlic: While garlic may be counter-intuitive to being a food that helps your libido because of the lingering taste in your mouth, body, and skin, it’s actually one of the best food for great sex because of its ability to improve blood flow to organs, due to its compound allicin. Extra blood flow means more sensitivity, a double win for health and sexual benefits. Be sure to wash your mouth thoroughly after savouring a dish containing garlic.
Strawberries: The colour red is known to help stoke the fire, men find women sexier if they are wearing red as opposed to cool colours such as blue or green. Strawberries are also an excellent source of folic acid, a B vitamin that helps ward off birth defects in women, it’s full of libido-boosting methylxanthines.
Chillies: has to be an aphrodisiac because of its ‘hot’ properties. From bell peppers to the red chillies all are considered aphrodisiacs. Chillies have capsaicin which increases blood circulation and heartbeats, raises body temperature and also produces sweat. All these symptoms occurs while having sex so this might be another reason for calling it an aphrodisiac. Capsaicin also helps in releasing endorphins and stimulates the nerve endings which makes which increases the pulse and makes the body sensitive.
