Not everyone is a fan of this. Some people feel more comfortable sleeping in pajamas or a nightgown; I get it. Sleeping naked is a touchy subject.  It’s a personal preference However, there are a few reasons that make sleeping naked sound like a good idea. The following are the reasons you should sleep n@ked:

 

1. It is easier.
You can’t argue with this one. It is a lot easier. You don’t have to think about what pajamas to wear or which t-shirt you’ll be sleeping in tonight. You can just take your evening shower and not worry about anything else. You don’t have to bother with picking comfy underwear and worrying about your clothes getting wet because your hair is still wet from the shower.

 

2. Your lady parts get to breathe.
We don’t think about this too often, but some parts of our body are forever covered. Think about it. Your arms get to breathe when you’re wearing a t-shirt, your legs get to breathe when you’re wearing shorts, your tummy gets to breathe if you wear a crop-top. Your lady parts, however, are always covered unless you’re in the shower or taking a bath. How about letting them breathe once in a while?

3. It will boost your self-esteem.
This might sound a bit strange. How could sleeping naked possibly increase your self-esteem? Easily. When you sleep naked, you get used to your naked body. In our everyday life, a lot of us struggle with body image issues, and we try to cover up as much of our body as possible. When we sleep dressed, we’re doing the same. So sleeping naked will give you an excellent opportunity to come to terms with your naked body and stop feeling shy about it; therefore you will become more confident.
4. You’ll look hotter.
This is closely connected with self-esteem. When you feel confident, you look more attractive. There is nothing sexier than a confident person. It shows in the way you move, the way you hold yourself, the way you talk. A lot of of people think the bar for “hot” means being a Victoria’s Secret model. The truth is, anyone can look hot if they’re confident and are comfortable with their body. Sleeping naked helps with body confidence.

5. You will sleep better.
If you’re one of those people who keep waking up in the middle of the night cause they feel too cold, or too hot, or just too uncomfortable – sleeping naked will change that. Our body temperature fluctuates at night. When you sleep naked, it’s easier for your body to adjust to the temperature around you, and you won’t have to wake up because you feel too hot. As a result, you’ll have a better and deeper night’s sleep.

 

6. It can make you feel happy and free.
Feeling more comfortable is a direct result of a good, uninterrupted night’s sleep. When your sleep is not interrupted, and you don’t wake up multiple times in the middle of the night, you wake up feeling more rested and with more energy. You’ll feel better and happier. You’ll be surprised how much a good night’s sleep can influence your daily life.
