Although many women don’t want to hear this but breast sagging is inevitable. Yes, inevitable. Having a baby, breastfeeding, and growing up all contribute to a loss of elasticity of collagen, the connective tissue under the skin—leaving your ‘set’ more deflated than firm.
Sag can also be a matter of genetics. If your mother had a droopy pair, you might get one, too.
But there are also daily habits we do that makes the breast sag, here are some habits that makes breast sag.
Smoking: Even your breasts can’t escape the damage cigarettes do. Any amount of smoking weakens and ages skin by decreasing the blood supply to the skin surface. Smoking breaks down elastin, which is what gives the skin its youthful appearance.
Wearing bra with poor support or no bra at all: Studies has shown that a bra that doesn’t provide enough support to the b**b may cause the b**bs to droop over time, a good-fitting bra keeps the breasts in shape and enhances their appearance. The more the b**bs bounce around, the more stressed breast skin and collagen become which automatically make the droop.
High impact work out: Exercises that causes the breast to bounce around without wearing a good bra will cause the breast to sag. While exercise helps you keep up a youthful appearance it is advisable to wear a sport bra that will hold the breast well doing those exercise.
Not drinking enough water: Water is the world’s magical drink for several reasons. Skipping water can make your skin appear rough and shrunken, and not just on your face but even your boobs.
Loosing and gaining weight: Weight fluctuations is one of the major factors of breast sagging, your skin loses elasticity when it’s stretched and when you lose weight, the first place you’ll slim down is in your boobs because they’re mostly fat. So remember each time you gain and lose weight, breast tissue becomes more slack.
Skipping sunscreen: Sun damage can cause premature aging and unwanted sagging, exposing your face to UV rays without a protective coating of sunscreen can lead to premature wrinkles, and it has the same effect on breast sag by stretching out collagen and damaging skin.
Remember there’s nothing much you can do to prevent sagging, gravity is a thing that none of us can escape. Love your body, accept your b**bs the way it is, take the sagging as a beautiful part of aging. You are beautiful no matter what!!!!!
