One could see groups attired in colorful dresses , both men and women, resplendently dressed all over the arena.
Drums and trumpets enliven the arena, announcing the presence of traditional rulers from different climes arriving in grand-style.
The National anthem has been rendered and the coronation is officially kicked off.

Praise songs continue, as praise-singers chant mantra in honour of the new Oba of Ife and the dignitaries that have come to grace the occasion. Prominent in the chant is “Jagaban” a nickname that has been accredited to the APC chieftain, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He notes that the newly crowned Oba of Ife is fortunate to be surrounded by chiefs who love the young ruler as their own son.
With a rousing ovation the governor ends his speech and beautiful music erupts, even as the smiling Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi stands to greet his highly distinguished guests with the staff of office in his hands.

The hall is quiet as the new king addresses the people of Ife and indeed the entire nation.
“I will do my best to promote social values, moral values and cultural values,” the new monarch has promised.
Oba Enitan takes his seat after a well articulated speech, the people love him and they cheer him endlessly.
Everyone up on their feet as the national anthem is rendered to signal a close of formalities.
