It was gathered that the tricycle has no engine and uses just battery and solar system to work. In fact, the tricycle does not use fuel and can go 11km without hitches.

No engine, just battery and the solar system and can go 11km without blinking.

Joshua Obodozie Oluchukwu added: “The pursuit started sometime in 2011… now we are here. well there were ups and downs but God made it happen.
“Are you wondering what the keke is doing there? ANSWER.. It is the first renewable energy source powered vehicle..produced in futo..EEE dept. MY DEPARTMENT.
“There has been vehicles before, even modified today. Just ask my rommie Chikwenze Raphael he will explain. It’s a solar keke with panels, batteries and dc motor, no fuel use.
“Just defended #no late post. I thank God Almighty. I am done and dusted. God did it.”
