The Solid Miner’s gaffer was delighted with the manner in which his side defeated the People’s Elephants over the weekend.
A first-half penalty kick from Seun Sogbeso was enough for the Solid Miners over 10-man Enyimba at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
And Dogo says his side had it difficult during the match, but eventually gained a deserved win.
“We got the win with some problems, which is normal and obvious, but I think we have justified it, because the only option we had was to win and we got it.
Nerves had been evident amongst his players early in the game, but Dogo was content that the team improved as the game progressed.
“Gradually we solved our problems and gained some piece of mind, putting those nervous moment behind us.
“What I like most is the heart the team has given, above all because in the rational aspect of the football we’ve made some big mistakes, but the players always believed and were going for the game.”
“We have taken Enyimba out of the way and will be hoping to do the same when we face FC Ifeanyi Ubah in the final. I trust my boys to complete the job.”
Nasarawa will lock horns with FC Ifeanyi Ubah in the final of the 2016 Federation Cup in Lagos.
