Hillary Clinton called Donald Trump to surrender overcome in the presidential decision, a Trump associate affirmed early Wednesday morning, not long after her crusade executive flagged she would not straightforwardly address supporters or yield until some other time.
John Podesta appeared at Clinton’s election night party in New York City at about 2 a.m. on Wednesday, in the midst of a long night that had Trump on the cusp of a stunning upset in the presidential election.

“Several states are too close to call so we’re not going to have anything more to say tonight,” Podesta said, urging supporters to go home.

The Associated Press had yet not called the race for Trump at the time of Podesta’s remarks.
