The Kazakhstan based forward has hit the Abuja camp of the Falconets for next month’s Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup in Papua New Guinea
Nigeria U20 women’s camp swelled on Monday with the arrival of BIIK Kazygurt forward Chinwendu Ihezuo for the 2016 Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup billed for Papua New Guinea.
Ihezuo whose lone strike secured a World Cup ticket for the Falconets at the expense of South Africa, joined coach Peter Dedevbo’s side upon her arrival in Nigeria.
She is expected to take part in the team’s training on Tuesday morning after missing the team’s Monday evening session to recover from jet lag.
Earlier on Sunday, Dedevbo’s side were held to a 1-1 draw by Eaglesnet Logistics Academy, who defeated them 2-1 a week ago in a friendly match at the Fifa Goal Project pitch, Abuja.
Nigeria are drawn against Spain, Japan and Canada in Group B,
