JooMah.com has started operations in Nigeria. The U.S based, Africa-focused provides web-based software services which use advanced computer modelling algorithms to help recruiters sort out the best candidates in a pool of applicants.
JooMah is not another recruitment site but it provides services for those in the business of recruiting as well as company to make use of its platform as a solution to eliminate the stress and time consumed in sorting out the best candidate from the many applications they receive for a job placement.
An employer or recruiter is expected is expected to receive candidates application into their JooMah account and an advanced computer algorithm goes to work in automatically identifying the strongest candidates and highlight them for the recruiter. This is extremely fast and saves time, money and stress of sorting out the best candidates to interview.
JooMah is set to partner with existing job sites to make the technology readily available en masse. According to the CEO of JooMah, Mr Kwaku Akoi, part of Nigeria’s unemployment problem has to do with a mismatch between recruiters and potential employees.
