For Ladies: Simple Steps To Making Crown Braid
The pulled together style can be dressed up with a few studded pins and it can double as your daughter’s new go-to ‘do for ballet practice, gymnastic meets, or soccer matches.
Follow these steps:
1. Divide your hair down the center, creating two equal sections.
2. Create a three-strand braid with each section, making sure to keep them on the side of your head (not behind) and secure with a clear elastic, like Goody Ouchless Mini Elastics ($5, target.com).
3. Pull one of the braids on top of your head, keeping it several inches away from your forehead, and use bobby pins to secure it across your head.
4. Do the same with the other side, tucking the tails of both braids underneath the larger sections to conceal them.
Tip: Don’t try to loosen up the braids, as this will happen naturally as you wear them. Spritz again with the texturizing spray to lock everything in place.
