Lekki Republic To Unearth Obscure Tourist Attractions in Lagos Island
Lekki Republic, an online business and lifestyle directory, is set to begin a series of events aimed at promoting tourism, recreation, and leisure activities around Lekki, Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Ajah.
According to the organisers, the series tagged: ‘Explore the Republic’ will take members from the budding online community to visit and explore selected areas of interest with great tourism potentials.
“The Lekki region is one of the fastest growing regions in Lagos with a great density of upwardly mobile fun loving millennial population.
“We have also noticed that people in this demography are always looking for an avenue to explore their environment and discover new places.
“We want to create great experiences for these set of people through guided tours and a mix of interesting community focused events.
“We believe this will not only showcase the seemingly unknown tourist attractions within the Lagos Island area but will also foster great business and professional relationships among attendees.”
The first of such tours is scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2017.
The online community will embark on a trip to the Omu Resort in Bogije, Lagos.
Omu Resort is a 35-minute drive from the popular Ajah roundabout.
The resort which is set in a rainforest environment has lots of side attractions, which allows guest experience and to be inspired by the wonders of nature.
