Moses Set For Eagles’ Return
Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh has disclosed that Victor Moses will return for Nigeria in their forthcoming African Cup of Nation’s qualifiers against Tanzania in September.
The Chelsea winger has been away from the nation’s national team for a while now as he was reported unfit for games by the former coach, Stephen Keshi.
The former Eagles skipper revealed on Monday night that he was at Wembley on Sunday to watch both Moses and Mikel play for the Blues, adding that he had held a “very constructive meeting” with Moses in London.
“At Wembley to see Chelsea vs Arsenal. Hoping to see Super Eagles Moses & Mikel play with FA Boss Pinnick & Losciuto.
“Very constructive meeting with Chelsea & Super Eagles’ Victor Moses. The team building continues,” Oliseh wrote through his verified Twitter account @SundayOOliseh.
The former Juventus midfielder also met Moses’ Chelsea teammate, John Obi Mikel after the game and it is now widely believed that both players will be part of the “new team building process” of Oliseh.
Mikel has played 64 times for Nigeria at senior level while Moses, who won his first cap for Nigeria in 2012 has played for the Super Eagles 24 times. Supersport
