High quality makeup products cost a good amount of money and the last thing you want to do is waste them. So when you see that box of compact powder or blush cracked to smithereens, do not let your heart crack along with it.
Here are some simple tips that can make your makeup as good as it used to be.

Melt the outer edge for extra hold and security. Cool in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes. Remove and smoothen the lumps for a seamless look.

To fix broken compact powder or blush:

Empty all the contents from the case in a bowl and break the chunks into further small pieces. Add a small amount of rubbing alcohol to this and rub together until a paste forms.

Using a small spoon, scoop the paste back into the compact and smooth into place with a spatula, pushing it out to the corners of the case. Leave to dry until it forms a solid cake.

Now it’s ready to reuse.

To fix broken eye shadow

Place all the pieces in its original packaging, place a tissue or wet wipe over it and gently press down several times using your index finger. Your eyeshadow will be as good as new.
