You’re whole dieting experience has been a lie. There are a few things that you need to know!
There are so many diets on the market right now and so few actually work. If you have been “dieting” for years, you must have some insight as to actually lose weight effectively by now. If not, I’m here to tell you what you’re doing wrong. The food industry makes a big deal about low calorie, no calorie, and low-fat foods. The truth is none of that stuff works.
I’m sure you’ve seen the low or no calorie food on the shelves and thought “Hey! That would be great for my diet!” Wrong. Actually, it’s quite the opposite. Consuming low fat or low or no calories food or beverages can worsen your health. Think about it; if they make a sweet, no calorie food, how do you think they make that food sweet with no calories? Ingredients and chemicals that are added to these kinds of foods could be worse for you than the regular stuff because of the added chemicals.
A low-calorie diet is just completely idiotic because not all calories are the same. A 150 calorie cupcake is completely different than a 150 calorie peach. The calories from the cupcake would be stored as fat while the calories from the peach would burn as energy. The use of artificial sweeteners in these types of food is horrifically troublesome because these sweeteners can contain carcinogens and can cause diseases.
A low-calorie diet could help you lose weight for a short term, but your long term health would suffer immensely. This is due because ingredients that are used in the low or no calorie foods are designed to increase profits while expanding the addiction people develop for their foods, and most of their foods are processed with GMOs. Some ingredients these industries use are:
-natural and artificial flavors
You can’t trust the frozen “diet” meals because they pack in a huge amount of harmful additives like sodium phosphate, hydrogenated oil, high fructose corn syrup, caramel coloring and hidden MSG. None of these ingredients are healthy nor do they promote weight loss. Consuming a bunch of processed “healthy” foods does not make you healthy, actually, it has the opposite effect.
When you are trying to eat healthier and lose weight, stick to cooking your own food with the least amount of processed foods and GMO added foods you can. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables and grass fed meat will ensure that you lose the weight you want and still promote a healthy body. You don’t want to fill your body with unwanted chemicals and just let your body harbor those chemicals. If you had a choice between drinking a glass of bleach and not drinking a glass of bleach, you wouldn’t drink the bleach, right? Because, that would cause serious damage to your health and you could possibly die. Well, that’s what you’re doing when you eat processed foods, taking those chemicals and processed junk and putting then into your body that will cause harm in the long-run. Don’t choose to live a long-term unhealthy life and stick to natural, organic foods.
