The CEO of Mag Divas boutique and beauty store, after adding a year older was on Sunday, January 10, was unveiled as the first ambassador of the Dubai Afrika Sickle Cell Project, which is aimed curbing the increase the of Sickle Cell patients in the country as well provide them with basic amenities for their daily survival.
The proud ambassador took to her Instagram handle posting a picture of her holding the DubaiAfrika blue T-shirt with the caption narrating how a young girl died of Sickle Cell Anaemia and how she lost her elder sister to Sickle Cell disorder. It says:
“Am glad to be doing this with @dubaiafrika I lost my elder sister to Sickle cell and you don’t know what it was like watching her helpless going through all those crisis hmmmmmm! Joy Aigbe continue to R.I.P.”

On Saturday, January 9, Mercy Aigbe bagged an award as “Fashion Entrepreneur of The Year” by, Links and Glitz World. She took to her Instagram posting a picture of her holding her award with the caption: “Fashion Entrepreneur of the year 2015 …… Thanks @linkaandglitzworld for the award am humbled.”
