MAX.ng (Metro Africa Xpress) was founded in 2015 by Chinedu Azodoh and Adedayo Bamiduro. Ltd, prominent motorcycle hardware maker, were among its top investors. The company also received $1 million in grants bringing its total funding till date to about $8.5 million.

Innovation

In addition to funding, the startup has also been recognised for its innovation. The startup was selected as one of BusinessDay’s Top 100 Fastest Growing SMEs in Nigeria for 2018.

Moving forward the startup plans to introduce an electric fleet of motorcycles as well as venture into other categories including 3-wheelers. Kudos to Max.ng.
