5G Mobile Networks Do Not Spread COVID-19 – WHO

As conspiracy theories continue to blame 5G mobile network as the channel through which Coronavirus is spreading, the World Health Organisation has come out to say state otherwise.

In an infographic posted on it social media page, the World body said that the Virus cannot travel on radio waves/mobile networks.

WHO said, “COVID-19 is spreading in many countries that do not have 5G mobile networks”.

The message from came a day after the World marked 100 days since the first case of what is now call COVID-19 was notified to WHO.

Till date, over 1.3 million people have been infected and almost 80,000 have lost their lives.

Continuing, WHO said, “COVID-19 is spread through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks.

“People can also be infected by touching a contaminated surface and then their eyes, mouth or nose.
