Ara Hosts Diplomatic Communities For Screening Of ‘Osunfunke’

Ara, better known as the queen of drums, screened her new film ‘Osunfunke’ for diplomatic communities, and corporate Nigeria.

The premiere event held recently in Oshogbo and was well attended by dignitaries from Osun and across the nation.

This event, an exclusive screening for diplomatic communities, dignitaries, and corporate Nigeria took place in Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

The movie which was directed by DJ Tee, features Ricardo Agbor, Baba Wande, Doris Simeon, Yemi Shodimu, Peju Ogunmola, Ijesha, Femi Jacobs, Olamide Adedeji, among others.

‘Osunfunke’ is about the emotional journey of a lady from a royal family, the Adegbites, who are the Arugba (calabash carriers) of the Osun Osogbo festival. A series of events, which included falling in love during her NYSC year, culminated in the loss of the title of Arugba.
