This couple had one of the best weddings of the year and the beauty of it is still mindblowing four months afterwards.
Seyi the groom is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s son; so ideally,when his wedding came around in August 2016, it was high-brow, totally classy and memorable.
The ceremonies took three days, starting in Lagos on August 5 and ending on August 10, 2016 in Lake Como, Italy.

2. Toolz and Capt. Demuren’s social media shut down
This is arguably the most followed wedding ceremony of the year.
OAP Toolz and her boo Tunde Demuren tied the knot on May 28, 2016 in a celeb-studded ceremony in the far east city of Dubai, UAE.
Prior to that grand finale, there had been her traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos, an engagement dinner and all of these were well followed on social media. #TSquared2016
3. Kunbi Oyelese’s ‘Kunbirella’ fairytale wedding
When the top designer got married to Lanre Tomori on Sunday, August 29th 2016, it was the beginning of her fairytale.
She had Toke Makinwa, Mocheddah, and Gbemi Olateruamong her 24 bridesmaids, and there was also a huge he six-tiered gold and white cake was baked by Heladodelicia.
The couple had had their engagement on Thursday, August 25 in Ibadan, and after the wedding had a honeymoon which covered about 5 beautiful cities around the world.

4. Folorunsho Alakija’s son and his Iranian sunshine
Folorunsho Alakija’s son, Gbenga, gave marriage another shot after his first wife passed away.
The billionaire’s son and his Iranian sweetheart, Naganin married on November 19th, 2016, at the ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
The guest list at the opulent ceremony included the first lady, Aisha Buhari, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode; Mrs. Rashida Bello; and Mrs. Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha among others.
5. Orobosa Igbinedion and Umar Mantu’s lavish wedding
Orobosa Igbinedion, daughter of Chief Gabriel Igbinedion and Lady Cherry married Umar Mantu in a grand Johannesburg ceremony on October, 22nd 2016.
Umar Mantu is the son of former deputy speaker of the Nigerian House of Reps, Umar Ibrahim Mantu, and before the Johannesburg ceremony that was the climax of the wedding festivities between him and his bride, there had been two other ceremonies – a traditional wedding, and Fatiyya held in Benin and Abuja respectively.
6. Noble Igwe and Chioma Otisi’s grand nuptials
When media mogul and CEO of 360Nobs, Nobel Igwe and Chioma Otisi wedded in June, it was actually a topic of discussion on Twitter so much that it was said to have trended for three days.
The ceremony had all the elements of grandeur – a superbly well-decorated reception venue, celebrity guests [even Babatunde Fashola was there] and that entrance the bride made in a balloon which won’t be forgotten in a long, long time! #Chobs2016.
7. Blossom Chukwujekwu and Maureen Esisi
Blossom and Maureen had their traditional wedding in 2015 and actually took their time before deciding to get joined in Church.

Former child star, Benita was all shades of pretty when she and her school sweetheart married in November.

10. Titi Osomo and Jimi Adesanya
Rounding up the Pulse top 10 celebrity weddings list is Titi Osomo and Jimi Adesanya’s fantastic French wedding.
Titi is Simi Esiri’s sister and her groom works with American multinational banking firm, Goldman Sachs and is the owner of JM Films.
The couple and their friends took the wedding party to Cap d’Antibes on the French Riviera on September 10, 2016, and they lit the place up!
Banky W was there, and so was Dr Sid who turned up for his sister-in-law.
