Check Out 4 Classic Movies You Should See Today

The Box Office is dominated by new movies but there are some classics that set the pinnacle of movie making today.
Here are some movies you should see if you haven’t already.

The Wizard of Oz (1939)
The film follows the legendary star, Judy Garland, who played Dorothy, an innocent farm girl whisked out of her mundane earthbound existence into a land of pure imagination. Dorothy’s journey in Oz will take her through emerald forests, and creepy castles, all with the help of some unusual but earnest song-happy friends.

All About Eve (1950)
Based on the book, The Wisdom of Eve, by Mary Orr, All About Eve is an elegantly bitchy backstage story revolving around aspiring actress Eve Harrington played by Anne Baxter. The movie was also one of the first roles of screen siren, Marilyn Monroe.

Casablanca (1942)
This classic follows the story of Humphrey Bogart’s on-screen character Rick Blaine, a world-weary ex-freedom fighter who runs a nightclub in Casablanca during the early part of WWII.

Singin’ in the Rain (1952)
Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O’Connor star in Singin’ in the Rain, one of the greatest and most successful musicals ever filmed – filled with memorable songs, lavish routines and Kelly’s fabulous song-and-dance number performed in the rain. Set during the period where talk-television was still new.
