Chierika is the 23-year Nigerian professional rower who represented the country at the Rio 2016 games (You should check the list of all the athletes representing the country) making it the first time Nigeria is represented at that sport!
But really that’s not the best thing about Chierika.

This olympian sacrificed a lot to represent the country at the games. She put medical school on hold to compete, and also sponsored herself all through.

She qualified for the semi-finals C/D as against A/B which is the medal contention round, but still we’re super proud of her! Well done Chierika!
