Chicken curry is one of the least demanding sauces to prepare, and is rapidly turning into my go-to sauce to eat with rice.
So, Here is how to the delicious sauce
Ingredients
1. 3 cups chicken broth
2. 1/2 small onion – sliced
3. 4 cooked chicken pieces
4. 3 tablespoons white/wheat flour
5. 1/3 cup water
6. 1 tablespoon curry
7. 1 teaspoon thyme
8. 1 teaspoon crushed chilli
9. Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Combine flour and water in a bowl to form a smooth paste and set aside
2. In a pot on medium heat, heat the chicken broth and season with
curry, chilli and thyme
3. Add onions and cook till tender, then add the flour paste and stir
till broth thickens and becomes smooth
4. Taste for salt and adjust if necessary. Add the chicken and cook for
additional 5 minutes
5. Serve immediately with white rice/yam/plantain/fries
