Fidelity Bank PLC has, for six years, ran its SME Forum, a radio programme which informs, educates and inspires Nigerian entrepreneurs, on the radio station, Inspiration 92.3 FM, in Lagos State.
Seeing its success rate, it has extended its broadcast to Inspiration 100.5 FM Ibadan and 105.9 FM Uyo.
This message which was sent to the Bank’s customers via mail revealed that the Forum gets an average, weekly, listeners of over 3 million making it the most popular and listened-to morning programme on radio in the state of Lagos.
The show has also served as a platform for increased business opportunities.
Seeing this advantage it offers the people of Lagos, the Bank decided to extend its reach to other parts of Nigeria, starting with this branch out to Uyo and Ibadan.

Part of the message reads, “The extension of its coverage to Ibadan and Uyo will help to further consolidate our position as the leading player in the MSME banking space in Nigeria and serve as a key driver of business development for our Bank via the aggregation of business leads, cross-selling opportunities and conversations.”
Entrepreneurs have a huge impact on the economy of a clime and this demands that appropriate attention, education, enabling and opportunities should be offered to them.
This would not only make them create better solutions to challenges, but it would also help their earning power.
Fidelity Bank offers entrepreneurs all these via its SME Forum.
