Five Popular Nigerians Who Got Roasted On Social Media Recently
Social media has given trolls another avenue to continue plying their trade, and Nigerians have taken to it like pigs to mud.
Although there is a thin line between yabbing and cyber bullying, Nigerians are just not here for the following people on social media:
Sean Tizzle is one musician whose twitter journey has been dodged every step of the way by the yabbing of Nigerians. He may be a good musician but his recent gaffe over the Adele’s Hello cover by Omawunmi led to so much trolling, he had to delete his account.
The controversial blogger is embroiled in yet another scandal. And Nigerians are roasting her for it. The scandal of the two Firkin (Fake + Birkin) which she claimed took her 8 months and $14,000 to acquire on Sloane Square, UK. Chief among her roasters on Instagram is the ex-billionaire wife, Dabota Lawson who in the past has been dragged on Linda’s blog for her bleaching ways.
Davido gets his fair share of the Nigerian troll factor. Good musician he may be, quiet & humble social media user he is not. Nigerians throw a lot of shade his way, he takes it and throws it back. Also, he features on many trailer jams.
Recently nicknamed Twitter Orubebe by some on Twitter NG, Japheth Omojuwa definitely has Nigerians coming for his hide. In recent weeks, the mud slinging going his way has been unexpected, shocking and very entertaining. With a scandal over the last elections yet to blow over, the roasting continues.
PS: Google Orubebe from the Nigerian 2015 elections for the back story on Omojuwa’s nickname.
Ben Murray Bruce
Nigerians are not shy about throwing shade at this Senator from Bayelsa state. The “common sense” senator, as he is called, has been the object of much ridicule and a regular feature on trailer jams on Naija twitter. One good thing about the owner of Silverbird group is he can definitely handle Nigerians.
PS: Check out the many trailer jams on Twitter Naija.
