Former Super Falcons Player, Ajuma Ameh-Otache Dies at 33

Ajuma Ameh-Otache, former midfielder of Nigeria’s Super Falcons, has passed at the age of 33.

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) shared the news on their Twitter.

Ameh-Otache was on the Nigerian team that played at the Olympic Games in Athens, and won the African Women’s Cup of Nations the same year.

The NFF wrote on their Twitter:

We are sad to hear of the sudden passing of former @NGSuper_Falcons midfielder, AWCON winner, Olympian, Ajuma Otache who passed on Saturday. Our thoughts are with her young family. May her soul rest in peace
