In an interview with Punch, Nollywood actor Femi Branch who is married to Ibitola, a marketing executive talked about their blissful union.
According to the actor, he met his wife at a church in Abeokuta.
In his words: “I met my wife a few years ago at a church in Abeokuta, which I was invited to. She sang during the service and I was captivated by her voice. I could not restrain the urge to speak to her after service and we became friends thereafter.”
The movie thespian further disclosed that he proposed to his wife during his grandmother’s burial.
Femi Branch said: “I proposed to her at my grandmother’s funeral in Badagry. It just occurred to me that she would be my wife. My grandmother was very fond of her before she passed away and I did not want to miss the chance of marrying her since I had lost my grandmother. So I decided to propose.”
