Imo State Government has launched a coding programme in partnership with Start.ng Internship, a platform created by Hotels Nigeria under HNG Internship.
The programme is in line with the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Emeka Ihedioha agenda to boost the development of technology eco-system in Imo State, with 500 candidates as the first beneficiaries.

According to the Hon. Commissioner for Technology Development, Nze Meekam K. Mgbenwelu, the Governor is committed to creating a world class digital economy for Imo State and Software Developers had a crucial role to play.
“The internship which is one of the biggest suppliers of Tech talent, provides sons and daughters of Imo State an opportunity to gain skills for the 21st century workforce”, the Commissioner said.
The start.ng Internship is brought to Imolites with support from the Imo state Government through the Ministry of Technology Development.
