Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria – often abbreviated as MBGN – is a pageant organised by Silverbird Groupwith the main purpose of sending representatives to international competitions.
Originally known as Miss Universe Nigeria, it was renamed Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria after news publishers Daily Times lost its license to send delegates from rival contest Miss Nigeria to Miss World and Miss Universe.

1. Regina Askia
In 1988, Askia-Williams – a former Medical student who had transferred from the University of Calabar to the University of Lagos – was crowned Miss Unilag.
That same year, she competed in the MBGN 1988 contest. Though she was the crowds favorite contestant as well as the outgoing Miss Intercontinental, Joan Maynard, she placed second. However, she became titleholder the following year when winner Bianca Onoh resigned.
She is a proud mother of two lovely daughters and she totally adores them.
2. Nike Oshinowo
Oshinowo, who was mentored by former Miss Nigeria Helen Prest-Davies, represented Rivers at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant and became its first Yoruba winner (she was crowned in 1990, but reigned through 1991,).
Nike who is divorced is a lovely mother to her twins.
3. Anita Uwagbale Iseghohi
As an undergraduate, Iseghohi was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2004, enabling her to take part in Miss Universe and Miss World later in the year.
At Miss World 2004 Anita placed among the top 15 semi-finalists and was named African Continental Queen of Beauty.
Anita is fond of her three kids with businessman Tom Iseghohi.
4. Adaeze Igwe Yobo
She pursued her childhood dream by representing Anambra in the MBGN pageant with 29 other girls.[3] Like Ann Suinner before her, Yobo’s platform was Sickle Cell Awareness; she also used her reign as a platform to showcase Nigerian talent.
Apart from winning five million naira, a Hyundai car, and endorsement deals, Awka-Etiti-native Yobo represented Nigeria at Miss World 2008 in South Africa.
Adaeze also has three lovely kids with her husband, Joseph Yobo.
5. Anna Banner
Anna was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria by 2012 MBGN Queen Isabella Ayuk in 2013 and represented Nigeria at the 2013 Miss World pageant.
Anna is a wonderful mother to her daughter with Flavour.
