Lumos Nigeria Donates Solar System To Pupil’s Home – Girl Who Turned ATM Gallery Light Into Reading Lamp In Ondo State

Lumos Nigeria, a solar energy solutions provider, says it has installed a free solar-powered system at the home of a pupil, Dele Rasheed.

This was following the viral photograph of the pupil while she was doing her homework with the lighting from an Automated Teller Machine gallery along Yaba Road in Ondo.

The Chief Executive Officer, Lumos Nigeria, Mrs Adepeju Adebajo, said in a statement that the gesture was in line with the company’s promise to light up one million houses and businesses by 2025.

“We made similar gestures when we provided 100 units of our solar-powered systems to the Nigerian Army as part of our contribution in tackling terrorism in the north-eastern part of the country,” she said.

Adebajo added that the intervention was a testament to its commitment to helping Nigerians grow and achieve their dreams.

She said, “With the newly installed solar-powered system, Dele can now do her schoolwork in the comfort of her home while the family enjoys ongoing access to power.”
