New Cases of Polio Reported in Nigeria

Two new cases of Wild Polio Virus have been reported in in Gwarzo and Jere Local Government Areas of Borno State.

According to GUARDIAN Newspaper, a top health official said that the country has decided to term it a ‘suspicion’, while it seeks the best approach to break the news to the public.WHO could announce the development at a press conference in Geneva tomorrow.

In July, 2016, Nigeria celebrated two years without any new case of Polio.
