Delta State police said that they have arrested 15-year-old Silas Anidi, after being accused of killing 11-year-old Aghogho Igbi, who was watching television in her home.

Anidi was also accused of stabbing Igbi’s 1-year-old sister identified as Favour. Luckily, Favour survived the attack. Anidi was charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder.

Anidi is the son of the General Overseer of the God Peculiar Evangelical Ministry.

According to the police investigation, a cult leader in Ghana, contacted Anidi, and offered him $250 in exchange for the dead body of a teenage girl.

He also promised him to relocate to Ghana. Anidi chose Igbi, as she was often left home alone. On Saturday, Anidi visited his victim’s house when the two sisters were home alone watching television.

While Igbi was watching television, Anidi approached her from behind and beheaded her. He then tried to stab her sister, but she managed to scream and attract the neighbors.

They immediately called the police and Anidi was arrested.
