A Nigerian woman has gone viral on the internet for sharing her incredible story of leaving Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) to pursue a nursing degree instead of finishing her undergraduate degree.
She acknowledged that at initially, she wasn’t passionate or interested in going to nursing school, but her parents urged her to think about it as a potential career path.
Without any prior preparation or faith in her ability to pass, she grudgingly consented to take the entrance exam.
Her life changed when, much to her surprise, she performed well enough to go into nursing school.
She came to realize how satisfying and fulfilling nursing was, and that she truly enjoyed it. Online users were moved by her story, applauding her bravery and tenacity, and they showed her a great deal of support and admiration.
