Oliseh is arguably the most successful defensive midfielder Nigeria has ever had. He went on ahead to play for organisations such as Juventus, Ajax, Borussia and FC Koln.

6. Stephen Okechukwu Keshi

Keshi was successful as both a player with the Super Eagles and a coach. He won the African Cup of Nations in 1994 when he was playing and later in 2013 when he was coaching the national team.
