Nwachukwu Goodness was born in 1999. She hails from the south-eastern parts of Nigeria.


Nwachukwu broke the world record in the Women’s Discus Throw F42-44/61-64 event not once but twice. She won this record score in her first attempt at throwing, recording a score of 34.84m. She then beat that record in her second attempt at 36.56m, earning her a gold medal. Before the Commonwealth games, she held the F42 world record holder with the best mark of 33.35m, but she improved on that distance with her first throw of 34.84m, which she further improved upon with a throw of 36.56m.
