On Wednesday, February 22, President Buhari had a telephone conversation with Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje during a prayers session.
“How are you feeling now, Your Excellency?” Ganduje had asked, to which Buhari replied: “Alhamdulillah (all praise be to Allah).”
Ganduje informed Buhari of the prayers, and Buhari said: “Maa shaa Allah”, meaning, “God willed it”.
Speaking after his telephone conversation with Buhari, Ganduje appealed to the Muslim congregation not to relent in their prayer for the President, as he cited that their prayers made the President emerged in the 2015 general election.
“We prayed for Buhari to win and he won. It is now mandatory on us to rally round his government and pray for his well-being”, Ganduje said.
