We all get to that point where it seems the customers are not just coming like they used to. This is a hard time for any business owner, so we have come up with a few tips to help you get those customers back.
Get personal with your customers.
Make each customer feel as if she is the only client who matters. Look her in the eye, shake her hand and use her name when addressing her. If she feels her business matters to your company, she’ll be more inclined to use your company.
Add extra services to your products.
For instance, if you sell windows, boost sales by offering free or low-cost services with the purchase of each window. Services may include measuring or old window removal.
Reach out to your best clients.
Send a note or email to former clients to touch base. You can let them know about new products or services you have available. You can also create a mailing list to notify past clients of special events and sales.
Start a referral program.
Boost sales by offering steep discounts on products and services to clients who refer a new client to your business.
Launch an affiliate marketing campaign.
With affiliate marketing, you advertise with other companies that offer products or services similar to yours without being in direct competition. Ads can be placed in newsletters or on your respective websites.
Offer incentives to your sales team. A reward of cash, paid time off or a travel voucher could motive your sales team to bring in more money for your business.
