Twitter users from Nigeria and Kenya locked horns on Saturday in a superiority war of words on the social media platform.
Trouble started on Thursday after Kemi Olunloyo, a Nigerian journalist, took to her account to allege that “Kenya is too dangerous for her to visit.”
She made the comment on the back of a media summit she was scheduled to attend in Nairobi, claiming it is for safety reasons.

Her statement, however, didnt go down too well with a huge number of Kenyans who took to the microblogging platform to pour out their annoyance.
Their reactions insidiously sparked a flurry of backlashes from Nigerians culminating into a full-blown Twitter war.
Using the hashtag #KenyaVsNigeria, users from both countries traded insults at each other to the delight of netizens across the social media platform.
“#Kenya #Nigeria. Let the battle continue,” said a user who begged for more.
“Imagine ugly Kenyans talking about witchcraft in Nollywood movies when their flag looks like a native doctor’s complimentary card,” another user said.
