Western Lotto Named Biggest Supporter Of Nollywood

Nigeria’s leading online gaming platform Western Lotto Nigeria Limited has been recognised as the 2017 biggest supporter of Nollywood award.

The honour came on the 8th of October, 2017 when Nigeria’s foremost celebrity journal, City People, hosted its annual “City People Movie Awards”.

According to the organizers, Western Lotto beat other nominees to claim the prestigious prize on the night filled with glitz and glamour.

On the historic night, Prince Jide Kosoko, a renowned Nollywood icon who is also one of Western Lotto’s brand ambassadors, was among the five veterans who bagged the life time achievement award.

Other Nollywood stars that were recognized included Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello, Sunday Omobolanle a.k.a Aluwe, Antar Laniyan, Kayode Olaiye (a.k.a Aderupoko), Tina Mba and Rachael Oniga, just to mention a few.

Speaking on the recognition, the Managing Director of Western Lotto, Mr. Yomi Ogunfowora, who expressed delight at the honour, said the company has a robust package for Nollywood as well as the Nigerian music industry.

He said: “We are very happy to receive this award. This is only the beginning as we have very interesting and detailed plan for the entire entertainment industry; both the movie industry as well as the music industry from time-to-time.”

With Nollywood top notch like Prince Jide Kosoko, Dele Odule, Ramsey Nouah, Osita Iheme, Chinedu Ikedieze, Paul Obazele and Kemi Afolabi, among others, as brand ambassadors, Western Lotto continues to be Nigeria’s premium gaming and entertainment brand.
