The two-year-old Hope who was abandoned by his parents on the streets of Uyo for 8 years over alleged suspicion of wizardry has resumed school.
It will be recalled that Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish woman saved the little boy, who was left to feed off roadside for months in Uyo, Capital of Akwa Ibom state.
The humanitarian aid worker, Loven, saved the malnourished and dehydrated boy named Hope from the street on the 30th of January 2016.
Miss Loven who announced the good news on his social media page on Monday said, On the 30 of January 2016, I went on a rescue mission with David Emmanuel Umem, Nsidibe Orok and our Nigerian team. A rescue mission that went viral, and today it’s exactly 1 year ago the world came to know a young little boy called Hope. This week Hope will start school.
