Adesina received 15 awards during the school’s 15th graduation ceremony on Thursday.
He received awards for being the best student in disciplines such as data processing, civic education, physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics.
Other awards include the ‘Barr. Adimula’s Award for Best in Mathematics and English Language,’ ‘Ifeoluwa Tomiwa Makinde’s Award for Overall Best Student,’ ‘Mr Alaofin’s Award for Best Student in Chemistry,’ ‘Mr and Mrs Makinwa’s Award for Best Student in Economics,’ and ‘Mr Àjàyí’s Award for Best Graduating Student of Rehoboth College’.
In his valedictory speech, Adesina thanked the college’s faculty and staff for their contributions to his academic accomplishment.
He stated that his accomplishment in the most recent school certificate examination would not have been feasible without their assistance.
He also praised the school’s administration for having “zero tolerance for examination malpractice” both internal and external exams.
Sam Popoola, the school’s proprietor, said the institution has continued to make strides in its quest to become the “school of choice in Kwara.”
Last week, Adesina revealed the inspiration behind his excellent academic results.
“I motivated myself into studying hard, knowing about so many things far from me and reading wide,” he said.
Adesina scored distinctions in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and four other subjects.
He also got 298 in the last UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
