It’s hardly news that and have long-term personal relationships and open sexual escapades with younger, single women. Yet, while it used to appear that these married men duped the unmarried women into the partnerships, it appears that this is changing.
Unmarried women appear to be getting more attracted to married guys and actively seeking them out for seduction.
For context, a few years ago, over the course of seven days on popular relationship expert Joro Olumofin’s Instagram blog, I witnessed reports upon reports, personal accounts underlining the prevalence of the practice and demonstrating how it is seemingly becoming a ‘goal’ for young, single women to date married men rather than dating someone single like them.
Are the days gone when it was married men who used to trick single women into relationships?
Why single women date married men
The obvious first reason why this relationship appears to be flourishing logically has to be the financial perks associated with such amorous encounters.
At the time period specified above, an Instagram user shares his personal experience on Joro’s Instagram page. He had gotten a ring and put it on his wedding finger despite being single and unable to get any girls despite repeated attempts. Girls were drawn to him like magic and offered se.x as cheaply as they could.
“…That wedding ring signifies success and stability which these lazy Nigeria girls like,” the anonymous user writes. Whether or not he was being 100% sincere is another thing, I concede.
Nonetheless, it appears that many women who actively date married men believe that young men their own age are still finding their feet and would struggle to pay the outrageous demands they make in order to fund their unsustainable, lavish lifestyles. But guess who has more than enough money to pay for trips overseas, super-expensive weaves, and everything else that these women desire?
Sure, you guessed right!
So the need to sustain an expensive lifestyle regardless of a low economic standing is one reason why.
Sometimes, all women want with married men is the chance to live a better, richer life
Another reason for this could be the need for independence; to be free to enjoy sexual satisfaction and all other pleasures of a relationship without actually being in a relationship.

“I think, like her, many women want both relationships benefits and the independence; a thing which may be difficult with a boyfriend or some other single guy who may likely start to catch feelings after a while of having se.x.”
The relative detachment which many married men often feel towards side-chicks is very perfect and enables this independence that Dairo speaks of.
Women, it is believed, want the freedom to live their lives as they wish while still reaping the benefits of a relationship. In such cases, a married man comes in helpful.
Ayo, a fun-lover, believes that married guys have a better understanding of how to treat women because of their experience. This is the point of attraction for some other babes.
Having been with a married lady for some time and being a man in his mid-thirties and older would have given him not just more financial resources, but also a wealth of knowledge in treating women with more care and their bodies with more pleasure.
Dating married men is wrong
The arguments for dating married persons, no matter how reasonable they appear to those who present them, are not and will never be adequate to justify the practice of dating someone else’s husband. Of course, it doesn’t work as a justification for married men who cheat on their wives.
