Dr. Muhammad Ribadu Ayuba, a famous Sociology instructor at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has been awarded the 2023 Rahamon Bello Best Ph.D. Thesis Award in African Studies at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The prestigious prize, named after former UNILAG Vice-Chancellor Rahamon Bello, recognizes Dr. Ayuba’s outstanding contributions to African and Diaspora studies.
On Thursday, November 30, UNILAG’s management announced the situation in a post on the institution’s X page (previously Twitter).
The post sighted on Friday, December 1, reads:
“There is a new winner of the Rahamon Bello Best Ph.D Thesis Award in African and Diaspora Studies. He is Dr. Muhammad Ribadu Ayuba, a lecturer of Sociology at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.”
