Adunni was born and raised in Queens, New York, to a Nigerian father and a German-American mother on June 7, 1976.
Adunni was born and raised in the United States, but she spent part of her childhood in Lagos, where she attended primary and secondary school. Adunni attended elementary and secondary school at Chrisland in Ikeja and the Bells Secondary School in Ota.
Adunni returned to the United States for her university education, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the prestigious University of Kentucky.
