Students in secondary schools who are interested are invited to apply for free money for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by a group.
The Academic Excellence Initiative (AEI) will compensate 100 students’ UTME fees in 2024.
The organization would pay the successful candidates’ N7,700 UTME registration expenses.
The goal, according to AEI, is to support bright and deserving students who might not otherwise have the money for the UTME.
Application for the funds has kicked off, and interested UTME candidates are to visit the AEI portal to apply.
The Ibadan Boys’ High School, Oke-Bola, Ibadan, will host the selection exam on Saturday, January 6, 2024, following the application deadline of December 31.
Candidates must have finished their O’levels and be prepared to sit the UTME in 2024 in order to be considered for selection.
The applicants also need to be non-receivers of previous benefits and possess a working email account and National Identity Number.
