At the age of 24, a Nigerian lady finished her MSc and became a lecturer at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT.
Chinonye Egbo, the lady, was interviewed by BBC Igbo in a 2021 video.
Even though her father wanted her to be an engineer, Chinonye, then 24, confessed that she has always had a passion for teaching.
Chinonye stated that it was her mother who pressed on her becoming a teacher, which was her heart’s desire.
After completing her BSc with honors, she went on to obtain her MSc with honors.
She also commenced her PhD all at the age of 24. Chinonye said many of her students are marvelled because of her young age. The video resurfaced on Twitter and drew many reactions.
