Davido has finally responded to a fan who purportedly rode his bicycle for eight days from Benue to Lagos just to see him.
An X user shared photographs of a man riding a bicycle and clutching a poster of the music star in the early hours of Thursday.
According to the X user, the young man is a Davido fan who rode for eight days from Benue to Lagos to see the musician.
“A young man called @emmiwuks embarked on a Benue to #Lagos on a bicycle to meet #Afrobeat Superstar @davido. He is currently on Day 8 today,” the tweet reads.
The X user also called on people to retweet the tweet for the information to reach Davido.
The post quickly attracted massive engagement and has been seen over a million times.
In his reaction, however, Davido asked the fan embarking on the journey to turn back because he was not at home.
“Turn around,” said Davido. “I’m not home.”
