Damilola Adegbite is a Nigerian model, actress, fitness trainer, entrepreneur, and television personality. She is best known for her roles as Telema in Tinsel and Kemi Williams in the film Flower Girl. At the 2011 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, she was named Best Actress in a TV Series.
Early Life and Education
Damilola Adegbite was born in Surulere, Lagos State, on May 18, 1985, to a civil servant father and a teacher mother. She was born into a four-person family. Her primary and secondary education were completed in Lagos state, where she attended Queen’s College, Yaba. She then attended Bowen University in Osun State, where she earned a degree in Business Administration.
From 2001 to 2002, Adegbite served as Vice President of Queen’s College Yaba’s school theatrical society. Since she was a teenager, she had also been a member of her church drama club.
Career
Adegbite’s career began shortly after she finished her undergraduate final exams. After hearing about an audition from her aunt, she decided to try out (Ethel Ekpe). She was fortunate to be cast as Telema Duke in Tinsel, Mnet’s first multi-camera production.
She then worked as a red carpet host and program anchor for Sound City Television from 2008 to 2010. During her time there, she conducted red carpet interviews with celebrities on special occasions. She also hosted Global Countdown and The Chatroom.
She has also worked for other companies, such as Nestle. She was the main character in a television commercial for Brilliance Motors in 2009.
Personal Life
Adegbite married Chris Attoh, a fellow actor she met on the set of the soap opera Tinsel, in August 2014. Brian, the couple’s son, was born in September 2014. Adegbite and Attoh married in secret on February 14, 2015 in Accra, Ghana. Adegbite’s failed marriage to Chris Attoh became public in September 2017. Separation rumors began to circulate after Adegbite removed Chris Attoh’s last name from her social media accounts.

She also deleted all of his photos from her social media accounts and unfollowed him on Instagram. Chris Attoh revealed his divorce from Damilola Adegbite in an interview a few hours later.
Controversy
There were rumors that Tinseltown actress and musician Banky W was having an affair years ago. When the two were allegedly seen holding hands on the red carpet for the 2011 release of Ice Prince’s album “Everybody Loves Ice Prince (E.L.I),” rumours that the actress and singer were lovers began to circulate. When Damilola appeared in Banky W’s music video for “Good Good Loving,” rumours that the actress and singer were lovers began to circulate.
