Did You Know That Anambra Has The Highest Number Of Self-Made Millionaires In Nigeria? Meet The 15 Richest People In The State

Nigeria is home to many African billionaires and multi-millionaires, including Aliko Dangote, the richest Black person in the world, in addition to being the most populous Black nation and having the largest GDP in Africa. These billionaire and millionaire entrepreneurs create wealth through various economic sources in Nigeria and elsewhere.

Anambra State in Nigeria has the most wealthy business tycoons in the country, and it is home to the largest market in West Africa, the Onitsha Main Market. The Nkwo Nnewi Market, also known as the “Japan of Africa,” is located in Anambra State and is the largest automobile spare parts market in West Africa.

Nnewi City is a hub for automobile spare part dealers as well as motorcycle and spare part manufacturers. It is also the location of the first indigenously owned car assembly plant, ‘Innoson Spare Parts,’ which later evolved into vehicle and vehicle part manufacturing, and is now known as ‘Innoson Vehicle Manufacture,’ the first indigenous vehicle manufacturer.

Anambra State is located in Nigeria’s southeastern region and is the commercial center of the region as well as the wealthiest state in the region. Anambra state was formed in 1976 from the northern half of East-Central state, and it was reduced in size in 1991 by an administrative reorganization that resulted in the creation of the new state of Enugu. The state is entirely made up of the Igbo tribe, which comprises all five states in the South East region. The Igbo people are known for their tenacity and unrivaled natural business acumen.

The Igba-boi education system (4 – 7 years apprenticeship program) developed by the Igbo people is an effective, formative, and result-oriented business skills acquisition program passed down from generation to generation and still practiced throughout the five South East states. The business-formation program has consistently raised thousands of wealthy businessmen in Anambra State and the other four South East states (Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo).
