The reality TV personality Tacha Akide disclosed how she was approached by a man who offered her “$20,000 to join his table” during the comedian AY’s birthday celebration.
Akide talked candidly about her interaction with the man in a Cool FM interview with fellow reality star Phyna.
The highly controversial N5 million scandal surrounding Phyna was the backdrop for the talk.
Phyna had earlier said that she was given N5 million to sleep with a man at a club. She claimed that after dismissing him, she offered to give him the money.
Following her disclosure, the reality star received mixed reviews on social media, with many people speculating that she had lied.
In her reaction, Tacha also narrated her experience when a man asked her to sit at their table “with an offer of $20,000”.
She said the incident occurred at AY’s birthday party two years ago.
The radio host implied that she refused the offer and was hesitant due to concerns about following the man home after the party.
“Still me that went for AY Live birthday, I think two years ago, and my road manager came to me to say, ‘A guy said he is going to give you $20,000 if you come to his table.’ I was like, ‘Omo, I no really understand because after I go there, I have to be following you home’,” she said.
Tacha gained fame after she participated in the 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).
She has since established herself as an influencer and radio host in the entertainment industry.
