Early Life
Kalu Ikeagwu, a well-known Nigerian-British film actor and director, was born in England, United Kingdom, in the early 1970s to Mr. and Mrs. Ikeagwu.
Kalu was born on May 18, 1972, and his parents relocated him to Nigeria out of fear that he would abandon his Igbo heritage and origin. He returned to Nigeria when he was nine years old.
Kalu had finished his elementary education in England by the time he returned. He attended secondary school in Enugu State, Nigeria.
He was later admitted to the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). He studied English at UNN and graduated with honors.

Career
Kalu Ikeagwu joined the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood in 2005.
In 2005, he appeared on Domino TV series; an entertainment TV series that was aired on TV and film cinemas in the early 2000’s.
Notably, Kalu rose to prominence in 2014. This was after the release of the now Nollywood blockbuster movie “For Real,” a movie that brought him to fame.
